In an increasingly competitive marketplace, CET SAFEHOUSE recognise the value that robust and effective management systems can offer to our own operational and administrative functions and the benefits that will translate to our customers. We strive to achieve the highest possible standards in Health and Safety, Environmental Management and Quality and our dedicated in-house Health & Safety and Quality Assurance Department provide an independent means of monitoring and continual improvement and a source of advice on legislative requirements and best practice for all members of the company.

CET SAFEHOUSE currently holds Health and Safety accreditation from:-

  • SAFEcontractor
  • Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS)
  • Constructionline

And are members of:-

  • The Chartered Quality Institute (CQI)
  • The British Measurement and Testing Association (BMTA)
  • The British Safety Council

The Health & Safety and Quality Assurance Department carry out certified in-house training for staff and subcontractors (if required) to ensure that all personnel are fully aware of current legislative and best practice requirements in;

  • Manual Handling Techniques
  • Confined Space Entry and Working
  • Abrasive Wheels
  • Emergency First Aid (appointed persons)
  • Foundation Level Health and Safety (to BSC standards)
  • CAT Scanning
  • Risk Assessment
  • Manager’s and Supervisor’s Health and Safety
  • Workstation Ergonomics and Display Screen Equipment

CET SAFEHOUSE is currently accredited to BS EN ISO 17025 within our Materials Testing and Inspection operations. The robust management systems employed by the division are being translated throughout the company and we have begun the process of attaining company certification to ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management Systems.

With continuing professional development being a prime focus, the Health & Safety and Quality Assurance Department are also developing and implementing procedures and recording mechanisms to enable certification to BS OHSAS 18001: 2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, and ISO 14001: 2004 Environmental Management Systems in the near future.

With an increased focus on responsibility for ensuring that Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety issues are identified and addressed within our industry, we are confident that CET SAFEHOUSE can provide the necessary resources and expertise to provide a high quality product tailored to meet our customer’s requirements.
